hi, you clearly care a lot about ethics and boundaries, but when every tweet is about what people are doing wrong, the fandom starts feeling less like a shared space and more like a place where everyone is under moral surveillance. sometimes people just want to enjoy things without every interaction becoming discourse.
if we start morally policing every single aspect of fandom interaction, then technically a lot of what all of us are doing here could also be considered “wrong.” none of us have explicit permission from actors to ship them, make edits, analyze their interactions, write fanfiction or build narratives around them. yet fandom culture exists because people engage with media emotionally and creatively anyway.

that’s why context and balance matter. there’s a difference between genuinely harmful or invasive behavior and harmless excitement or fan engagement. sometimes it feels like every situation gets treated with the same level of severity and it creates an atmosphere where people feel constantly judged instead of part of a community.
