What if Carter and Floyd were aliens?
A curious premise.
I've been thinking about this for a while and I cannot think of designs for them. However, I can tell you what they'd do. Carter and Floyd would visit distant planets all throughout the galaxy. Circle the stars. And take souvenirs from asteroids. They would leave their mark in various places as lovers do with carving their initials into the bark of a tree.
Simply joy loving alien boys.

And hey this is also my other question in a row, or rather it's not a question, I just wanted to let you know that your cats pictures and stuff made a huge impression on me. I'm a huge fan of every picture of them that you posted on fa a couple of years ago,, I think that looked at each of the pictures again and again at least 30 times over that year. Like every cat stuff. If you remember we had a trade and I drew your cats and you drew a cat with white one-eye bangs hey... And ah I saw your post on fa recently. Unfortunately at that time I was completely in a deeply down mood and didn't find the energy to write, although I really wanted to say that I adore your drawings and your style is very juicy I love it. And now that you've started drawing Minecraft often (like im going crazy when any minecraft stuff), I'm delighted and thank you for leaving the opportunity not to lose your art! Heyo sorry for asking if this is something wrong, I just missed the retcon of cat vers. Can I ask why this happened and if it's possible to expect them sometime in the future? If you don't want to answer that's okay!!
Hi!! It's okay to ask. I feel like...I've outgrown Catverse's story and setting. A lot of things do not resonate with me anymore. I still adore my characters, so I've put them into their own separate stories, redesigned some, and that feels...a lot more comfortable.
I had a lot of fun with Catverse when I was actively working on it, but...I dunno, over time it became something I didn't want it to be. I spent a lot of time people pleasing, fighting with myself about being a writer and my depictions on certain scenarios and relationships. Sometimes I made myself deeply uncomfortable with certain topics. Sometimes I got frustrated by the sheer amount of characters and not being happy with how I put the puzzle pieces together. There's also things with like ex-friends interpreting things in bad faith and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I...fell out of love with Catverse.
Catverse will not return, the characters is what made it, and some of them no longer exist or exist in a completely different setting.
