are the villagers afraid of Steve?

Hm!! Steve is a mythical figure, a demigod of sorts. He's seen as benevolent, but his power is quite scary. So I guess in a way they're sort of scared of what he's capable of, but he's a benevolent being to villagers! The illagers however fear Steve and his "kin".
