Do you actually miss certain people… or do you just miss the version of yourself that existed when they were still around?
I can mourn a lost bond and the end of a cycle for a while, but that's about it. The image I presented in their company is still within me, even if it's dormant, so I could never truly miss it.
People who are unapologetically themselves (as long as their true selves don't include being asshats, obviously).

If every version of you that’s ever existed sat round the same table, which one would look at who you are now and think, “bloody hell, what happened to us?”
Any version up until teenhood would probably be surprised by the development. Or maybe the lack of it, since kids do imagine the wildest things for their future selves. But my earlier twenties would agree that, yes, I did go through an improvement after all.

Mas também gosto do cheiro de chuva quando molha a calçada e as brincadeiras com meus amigos de infância. Cheiro de giz. De um sorvete de uva extremamente artificial, apesar de eu mal gostar desse sabor hoje em dia.

Eu gosto de manter uma cabeça aberta pra analisar todas as opções possíveis, mas uma vez que finamente decido fazer algo, é impossível me fazer mudar de ideia.
