omg i don't know that i have a singular jmjn f1 thesis anon! but as i brushed upon in this post, i think jaemjen at merc being twin terrors would be so fun, and they would work so well as a team... i lowkey don't know how a title fight would end up though bc i think they would end up wanting each other to win too badly 😭 and jaemin is the least—save for in very specific circumstances—competitive person on the planet lol. if they were on rival teams, i would say maybe jeno red bull and jaemin merc..? jeno would do rbjt child soldier very well imo. again realisically jm would probably be fucking around in am but fujoistically backmarkers don't exist to me, and i don't really see either of them in ferrari or mclaren! well. maybe a short ferrari stint with jaemin as a jaded kim raikkonen type..?

as for driver jn x wag jm.. omg can you imagine. it would be insane. i think jaemin would either be a mysterious and fiercely private wag OR full throttle over the top socmed influencer menace wag always on the news. wag jaemin in the paddock fully decked out in chrome hearts head to toe... with one of his three ragdolls on a leash/in a pet stroller bc i firmly believe he is the type to own a pet stroller. it's beautiful. the other way around is so good too though jn being driver!jaemin's wag... we all saw how he went dumbstruck when jaemin put that ferrari jacket on at that one fansign. puppy was practically drooling. me at the thought of trophy wife gf jn tbh...

reem and i did briefly discuss driver!jn x race engineer!jm but mostly with our pwp-addled sagmoon monkey brains 😭 i think jaemin being anyone's race engineer would be An Ordeal in and of itself but um welll..... can you imagine jaemin in his teasing and sickly sweet coddling voice talking jeno through the esses, telling him when to lift, how to take the corner... 😵‍💫 sorry. my d^ck hard. then again, the other way around with jaemin obnoxiously cracking jokes and sexual innuendo over team radio to stoic calm race engineer jeno (who tries to get jaemin to save the tires or mind track limits) knowing full well everyone else on the pitwall can hear them... also delicious... i think that's the problem with jmjn f1 au the possibilities are endless and i have decision paralysis! too many options and they all sound sooo good 🤤

haha f1dream is something i have honestly somehow rotated so much and so little at the same time! like i think last september maybe reem and i were talking about which dreamies would drive for which teams & which ship dynamics fit which intrateam environments and/or interteam dynamics and honestly the most defining conclusion we came to is that realistically jaemin would be fucking around no matter what. think lxnce in am, just unserious pay driver who dithers amongst the backmarkers but also becomes senna in the wet. i think i was joking that jaemle in aston martin would be two (rich) blokes who do fuck all /pos /i smiled.

less realistically but more fujoyumeistically i would love to see jaemin in merc colors obviously due to the wombo combo reasons of killer + visual + highly curated image management (that gif of 4463 mirroring each other with their arms back on the podium next to max...) + villainous business major + snake 🐍 + british✨ etc, and did i mention being the killer. and actually jeno i think is also very perfect at merc (earnest tryhard + obedient puppy who would thrive under toto's iron fist stern guidance...) but i could also see red bull jeno, maybe with mark? and for mark, i feel like he occupies a role that's half lewis half max: untouchable legend that is sooo famous to everyone & accidental teammate eater (induces debilitating complexes in his teammates, guys who are always trying to measure up against him). so i could really see him in either rb or merc as well, esp with jeno as his dutiful 2ic ❤️

what is soo certain for me though is that haechan is at ferrari no matter what. i mean the sun of maranello hello? dongren at ferrari would be so funny and perfect and fitting for different reasons; haechan dedicated to the craft the legacy the pursuit of perfection in an institution that may or may not be stifling him / renjun sincere sisterhood believer delusions and hysteria. and also the drama from their team orders would feed generations, not to mention the potential makdongren title fight beef, with am jaemin pretending he doesn't see the blue flags when they start ww3 trying to lap him. although again, realistically renjun is a wag with chanel addiction flitting about in the paddock with a teacup dog attached to the hip, he is not driving that car!

sdfjioefs i'm still here anon!! she's still alive. although admittedly more focused on other endeavors rn (unfortunately f1 is proving to be not a phase..? who else is scared rn) but jaemjen basically confirming they live with each other or at least spend enough time at each other's place to know what each others' morning routines and habits are immediately filled me with intense MyShipRealitis like i know i've been a little mia on here but trust i still blewed up and died!! i did. also jaemin's freaky ass during the practice behinds like bruhh this man is a menace. i can only hope the clutches of car yaoi relinquish me just enough to get back to them soon bc i do have such a pile of jmjn wips rotting away in the gdocs purgatory :') maybe if i can flesh out some f1!au jmjn ideas the boytears ao3 resurrection timeline will accelerate hahaha
