in my opinion, mas nakakatakot ‘yung posibilidad na unti-unti na tayong nasasanay dito. ‘yung putukan sa senado ay isang malinaw na sintomas. oo, nakakagulat at dapat lang kondenahin, pero kung iisipin mo, mas delikado kapag ang reaksyon ng mga tao ay “normal na lang ‘yan.”
kapag nasanay ang publiko sa political violence at kawalan ng accountability, bumababa rin ang standards natin sa kung ano ang katanggap-tanggap sa gobyerno. unti-unti, nawawala ‘yung gulat, tapos napapalitan ng pagod, memes, o indifference. at doon mas madaling lumusot ang abuso, kasi wala nang collective outrage o pressure para managot ang mga nasa kapangyarihan.
tandaan mo na democracy doesn’t just die through one violent incident. minsan, namamatay siya sa paulit-ulit na pagkapagod ng mga taong dapat sana’y patuloy na nagtatanong at naniningil.

anon… i don’t think you came to the right person 😬 if i had the means to shift programs, i probably would. the field is really competitive and already quite saturated. but it still depends on your mindset and how you carry yourself through it.
but you’re only in your first year. enjoy the program and explore it. don’t be afraid to ask questions when there’s something you don’t understand, especially about your foundation subjects, you’ll carry them with you all the way to senior year so master it as early as possible. good luck, anon!!

i didn’t know you replied 😭 anyway, i stan a lot of groups! infinite was my very first kpop group, then bts too back from 2014–2023 (those were really my active fan days 😆). i was also into almost all the big 3rd gen groups—got7, nct, exo, svt!
for 4th gen onwards, txt is my main until now! i also actively listened to riize, cortis, ateez, and seunghan. i feel like i’m forgetting a few more groups 😭 but yeah, i’m definitely more into boy groups.
