for leizi and chi cheng, i think it’s pretty obvious that they’re ready to settle. like, kung gusto nila, pwede na. then for suowei, i think he’s always longed for that kind of care and the feeling of being chosen, enough for him to let go of everything else as long as he’s genuinely loved. especially since chi cheng saw him for who he really is. (i don’t read the novel, so base lang ’to sa series.)

well, here comes the ziyu part HAHAHAHAHA i don’t know if i read too much into zy’s lyrics or if i just overthink everything. i mean, assuming lang naman lahat ng magagawa natin kasi hindi naman natin sila personally kilala. but imo, i don’t think zy’s courage is something to underestimate. he left his previous company and sued them without any assurance that he’d be able to bounce back in the entertainment industry. and you see, i hate to even bring this up, but if you’ve read the criminal record he recently released, that also shows he wasn’t penalized for paying his debt, ibig sabihin never siya na-late sa payment and interest. he’s been working (na sure may sweldo) WHILE STILL pursing a career in the industry (passion). it takes a lot of courage to keep pursuing something for your future while your past has been following you since 2024. this is argumentative, btw.

so yes, i think if ziyu really wanted something, he’d try to save both even if it meant making things harder for himself. and with the possibility of ruining himself once again, at least he’d have both. i think he’s the kind of person who would rather fight to keep both love and career than willingly settle for only one.
