AHHH I was actually just rereading an autumn skk fic of mine the other day this is such a silly coincidence lmao
I haven’t posted this one on twt yet, so I’ll take this as a sign that I should get it out there!!
Tbh I def agree that affa is autumn coded, so hopefully the vibes will align for me to have a new chapter of it out soon! For plot reasons it would also be really cool to get the next few chapters out in the next few month (before october, if you catch where I’m going with this lmao), so I’ll do my best to get to it soon so the reading experience can be more immersive heheh :D

I have been really busy though, you’re very right about that, and I’ve been upset about it getting in the way of me being able to write as much as I’d like :(
I do have some fun stuff I’ve been working on to try and help with that, but I’m holding off on announcing anything until I’m sure it’s actually smt I want to try doing.
Hopefully it will work out and I’ll have a better excuse to shove writing and fandom time back in my schedule so I can be around more often! All very vague for now I now lmao but lets look forward to that :)

I already asked this on Neospring (lol) but do you enjoy playing (or watching other people) play horror games?
Ahh sorry, I prob didn’t see it before it stopped working :( I generally don’t like seeing ppl play games tbh, I always end up just wanting to play and I don’t like getting the second hand experience, so I prefer to just play them myself lmao
I’m only into horror up to a certain point because I don’t like feeling too scared with visuals (reading horror >>>> playing or watching for me. I think it has smt to do with the pacing of things tbh, but who knows!). I also prefer like mystery driven things with lore than just scary for the sake of scary, so I like creepy games more than like jump scare horror, yk? I’m playing dredge rn and I’m absolutely loving it, but I think much scarier than that prob wouldn’t be for me, so it depends a lot!
How much I like the story and the vibes also influences how scared I’m willing to feel tbh, so it depends on a lot of stuff! Not sure if that fully answers your question, but I hope so :)

Funny thing, once upon a time forever ago someone showed me a blogger who they thought looked like me and said she was really cool except for “that one suicide obsessed character she cosplays, don’t think too hard about that because you’ll prob like it and we can’t have that” and that was the first time I ever saw Dazai LMAO
That was just an additional anecdote however, and not actually how I got into bsd, but because of it I recognized Dazai when he started showing up on my timeline on tumblr a while back and at the time I was really deep into other stuff and I wanted to watch smt I didn’t think I’d like much because I couldn’t handle another hyperfixation. So I was like “sure, this seems like it’s got too much going on for me to get fully into” (LIKE A FUCKING FOOL LMAO) and here we are to this day 🥲💔 ksiwksiqksiqks
