i’ll probably say paris, texas by wenders.
it really taps into that whole “wherever u go, there u are” idea. u can change your surroundings, your life, disappear for years, become somebody else entirely, but eventually u still run into yourself again.
and i think one of the biggest struggles in my life has probably been trying to escape myself in one way or another, so i connected to it quite deeply because of that.
also it’s long as fuck and somehow still feels like it passes in ten minutes because u get so emotionally locked into it all.
