I know this probably isn't the first message you've received like this, but I still wanted to express my own appreciation for the work you've done with Cy.

I was diagnosed with ASPD when I was 23, and now, nearly 40, I've never come across such an authentic portrayal of someone with my disorder. Thank you for taking the time to avoid the corny, dehumanizing stereotypes that so often surround ASPD. Cy feels like a real person. Like someone with ASPD. Like me.

I also want to thank you for the way you've written his relationship with Lynn, because it reminds me so much of my relationship with my wife. I'd never been able to romantically love anyone before. I committed to a serious relationship with her without loving her at first, simply because I felt free with her, because she's my best friend. I do love her now, but what really struck me is how deeply I related to their relationship.

I'm not someone who likes sharing things this personal, so I wouldn't say any of this unless I genuinely felt it was worth sharing. In this case, it absolutely is.
