We are curious. Have you any hobbies besides writing?
In theory I used to call programming a hobby... but I despise it. I have a handful of projects, most notably geekslist, but I want to finish them more because I want to have what they are -- not because I enjoy the act of making software. Something I enjoy infinitely more is making music, to that end I own a guitar I've learned to play. I am mostly a beginner still but it is a lot of fun, and I also dabled with DAWs to make digital music. My biggest music accomplishment is probably the soundtrack of a game I worked on that I made. Besides that I am also big into woodworking and sewing, but I don't have much space for it in my current place so it's difficult to do bigger projects there. I rn have a fluffy piece of fabric lined up to experiment turning it into a plushy and I also always have a few notes around on furniture I want to make but that will have to wait once we found a new and bigger place to life at... not just because of the making but also because one needs space for the furniture itself. I have been known to work on 3D modeling and animation stuff before but it's been years at this point and not a major interest of mine. I've also tried learning to draw some time but never went anywhere much with it. Maybe one can consider organizing and managing projects a hobby of mine -- since I haven't found a job yet where I can do professionally -- but I do really enjoy leading big teams and talking to lots of people and helping people just make stuff. Not much opportunity for that right now but I hope one day I can get to it again -- loved nothing more than managing the game projects at university.
I think maybe my hobby is having hobbies... that might be an accurate description.
A genre you'd never write, and one you never wrote but you'd like to.
Difficult question... especially if you consider my writing blog. I wrote a lot of stuff there, from horror to commedy to slice of life. I also wrote smut and stuff... I would say like, really dark and nihilistic is something I would never write, I really do not like that sorta thing -- but idk how much that counts as a genre. I wouldn't put dark fantasy overall past me.. but I get very invested in the things I write and I rarely am in the mood to ruin mine, like writing that horror story was quite difficult for me.
I haven't written fan fiction yet, but I really want to. I even got some ideas for stuff I wanna write for but I didn't have the time or a story outline for it yet. Hopefully I'll get to that some time, maybe even on my blog! Gotta put my AO3 account to use hehe
we were known under different names once
we used to dance to strange lights twice
none remember us thrice
but what of you? would you weave us new vessels?
I have a sewing machine and moderate skills, I bet I can put something together as long as your expectations are low.
why do you hate LLMs
I don't. However people like Sam Altman poisoned the well and we can't get shit done until we rid us of this disease. Once their companies are bankrupt, their models are purged and the internet is recovered, we can finally do cool science with them.
clowns. misunderstood heroes of society or a horror beyond nightmares?
Never met one tbh, but honestly more people could use some cheering up so maybe I just never valued them enough when they were around
would you marry donkey kong for $200?
Not the worst thing I'd have done for money, and I can imagine he is a great cuddler.
how much saliva is too much when kissing
Depends on the mood tbh. That being said, I think there is hardly an upper limit to it
capybara. yes or no?
They look like fine gentlemen, I'd at least hear them out over a cup of tea
what is your ideal first date
I mean, I never had one. But the closest I got was going to the dinosaur museum with this really cool enby.
Otherwise I really just like hanging out, good food, maybe sitting on a hill at dawn watching the sunset and talking about our favorite Pokémon.
Since I have to assume I have an outlook email, and have suffered outlook for over a decade now, there is only a handful of options:
1) don't
2) open outlook in a browser
3) idk google if I can just talk to an smtp/imap server directly on linux command line or something, some nerd must have done shit like that probably
Nobody it's a holiday, they all closed
