this anon is spot on. i'd like to add my two cents, i've been in some other forums (mainly when modulo was on going) and the "gege hates yuji" thing is not as believable nor is passed as the absolute truth like in here. actually some would insult whoever said that. imo i believe many are/were jealous that yuji's development did not go to their fave. many also love to take things from yuji to give it to their preferred character. like you mentioned, to this day some people in here are still debating over who teached sukuna love. on the powerscaling side you have the usual who is the strongest bs, and of course antis fighting over their bland ass ships and insulting yuji at the same time because he didn't mention megumi in modulo. they all want things from the character but not all of them actually like him. i guess it must suck to them that he's so beloved by others and keeps getting focus even after the main series ended while their characters are dead or long gone
