Is there any genre of movie that you didn't like that much but now it's one of your favorites?

Musicals and more experimental arthouse films. Younger me would’ve rolled his eyes at both, and now I’m sitting there completely emotionally devastated by a five-minute sequence lit like a hallucination while someone sings.

White Pony by far! Also, I know it technically came out in 1999, but I’m still saying Operation: Doomsday because rules are flexible when MF DOOM is involved.

A concert you would definitely time travel to attend since the artist is not alive anymore?

There’s a lot... Seeing Michael Jackson live performing must’ve felt unreal. But also Alice in Chains, Type O Negative, The Doors, Soundgarden. It would be so cool to attend Jeff Buckley’s with you and Nicholas too.

Do you think you were born at the right time and generation? Not mattering the answer, why?

Yeah, definitely. Being a 00s kid was fun in a very specific way, I don’t think I’d trade for an earlier time. We grew up right in the middle of everything changing tchnologically and culturally, so it feels like having bit of both worlds. And even though older decades can be aesthetically pleasing, I think there’s something valuable about growing up in a generation where people stand for what matters to them, question things and are more aware of the world around. We have everything to be more politically and socially aware because information is everywhere, there’s more space to be critical and challenge things instead of just accepting them.

What was the first song you learned on guitar and also what was your motivation to start playing? Anything in particular or just fomo?

Enter Sandman. My dad used to play a lot of Metallica and Foo Fighters during car rides when I was younger, so I spent a lot of late nights learning by myself to impress him. It worked, btw! And as for starting in general, my parents were always big on making sure me and my sister & brother had interests out of school. But I was also a teenage boy in the early 2010s so part of it was definitely just thinking that I would look impossibly cool.
