5-10 issues. a descent into a persons most primal urges, someone who is forced into things they never could have imagined in the name of survival.
the art style would start light, barely any shadows, airy colouring expressing the naivety of the main character. the change isnt sudden, its calculated the colours slowly get more desaturated, darker as the mc's fate closes in on them rapidly.
thing is, its not the wilderness that causes this change, the mc is stuck in a populated city, trapped in an apartment complex, they can hear the neighbours but no one seems to care of their anguish and terror as their captor continues to do as they please with the mc. it would end on a panel of the mc, nude, emaciated. long, matted and greasy hair, huddled in a corner with wide fear filled eyes as they pick apart the furniture, eating away at it while the rotting corpse of their captor sits in a wooden rocking chair.
If you smell like apples...does that mean I can take a bite? 👀
Counterpoint to the impostor syndrome post: what if you're supposed to look like whatever form feels most comfortable during a specific situation?

Who's the superhero most likely to die first
the flash, unfortunately :( hes like the ultimate sacrificial lamb in so many universes its insane! plus he's always sent straight into the crossfire of disasters to save civilians because he's fast but being fast doesnt make him immune to bodily harm. same can be said for people like green arrow or batman but both are able to have mid to long range attacks while the flash needs to be in close range.
