this sent me into a minor dissociative moment 😅 like wtf do i think about frequently
but frankly - stories. i think about storytelling, i reexamine character choices in media i enjoy, i build off of ideas i had on the drive to work. its probably not that surprising.
part of me feels silly for constantly thinking about fanfic. i feel like i should have more interests readily available to ponder but it almost always just returns to how i could craft it into a fictional world. i guess the issue also stems from the fact i dont think i'm that good a writer on a technical level. which isnt some bid for compliments or well-intended arguments, i genuinely know i could improve. there are so many incredible storytellers i pay attention to that inspire me to be better, professionally and those in fandom, and i can only do my best to channel their energy to keep improving. (though the reality of whether i am or not it always up for debate)

also the fact that wooyoung regularly shoves his entire hand up the member's shorts or in their shirt sleeves and just has full freedom to do so. his grabby lil raccoon hands brushing over pecs and nips and squeezing thighs bc they're all whipped for a happy giggly wooyoung

i stand by my belief that any unfinished work or series still has potential to be completed - its really just down to Plot actually sticking and Motivation. I loved working on Folklore, it was genuinely very fun creating the universe they all lived in, but I also recognize it was built during a period of my life when I was really struggling. The chances of me returning to the SKZ side is admittedly slim. I still enjoy SKZ as an entity and I enjoy their music, but the fandom space doesn't attract me the way it once did. However the ATZ Folklore that still needs to be written is very much a possibility. If only the plot rabbits stick around long enough. There are bits written for Part 2! I can throw some up as a thank you for still reading Folklore despite not being completed 💚

there's a lot and usually the only thing keeping me from them is my brain functioning at a reasonable level.
but if you're looking for something unique - there's 3 things I'd love to dive into.
1 - something original. i've considered flipping an idea away from fanfic and into something my own but it's really daunting and i'm not sure exactly where to start or which idea to use. it'd be nice to have something i can hand off to family and say 'i made this' without the shame of rpf fanfic at the helm
2 - a specific au idea with Rai we want to tackle a very specific way that would require a lot of planning and precise execution, but god it'd be such an incredible feat. we're both big world builders and we've dropped at least 30k in notes alone, but starting it has been where the hiccups happen
3 - purely indulgent free-use 'fake maknae' sugar baby yunho ot8 where he's the youngest (or close to it) and in university as a TA / Grad student focusing on piano. why i havent done it? writing smut genuinely puts me to sleep. no idea why.
