Yuuji hating them for having taken him from his friends and dragged him to Sukuna like a piece of meat, and Uraume not understanding his anger because being Sukuna-sama's is the greatest honor anyone can get.

Uraume, coming into Yuuji’s room (Yuuji calls it his "cell" but it's a super lavish room at the heart of Sukuna's home), and Yuuji immediately yells at them, throws shit at them to make them leave, cursing at them in a way he's never cursed at anyone but Sukuna before, but nothing works. Uraume just avoids the projectiles and calmly explains that it's time for his bath because Sukuna-sama is coming.

Yuuji tries to drown himself in the bathtub only for Uraume to pull him out and telling him that his death would displease Sukuna so Uraume can't allow it.

Yuuji replies that he'd rather die than live as Sukuna's slave, and Uraume frowns at him, incredulous.

"Why? Belonging to Sukuna-sama is the best possible life you can have."

They just can’t understand why Yuuji is so difficult about it, but they're sure it will pass soon. At the very latest when Yuuji is pregnant and awaits the godlike privilege of birthing Sukuna's children.

Uraume gets Yuuji ready despite his protests, washes him, dresses him scantily enough to make the boy blush, and smiles as they hear Sukuna's heavy footsteps approach the door.

Yes. Yuuji will definitely understand soon, and become Sukuna's in body, mind, and soul.

I'll be honest, anon, I had to look up what "splenda" means 😆 I LOVE IT THOUGH! Especially since I think Yuuji would prefer movie dates over super lavish weekends at hotels, and would be more excited to be taken out to some burger joint and told to order everything he wants on the menu rather than spend an evening at a Michelin star restaurant etc etc 😆 As much as I like the idea of Sukuna being wealthy and spoiling Yuuji rotten, I still think he wouldn't try to impress him with a fancy lifestyle, but rather notice what gets Yuuji excited and give him that, regardless of if it's the latest gaming console or a bag of his favorite snack in a new flavor. In other words, I think a splenda daddy would suit him sooo well 😌🙏

Oooh, maybe he's the warden? Free to do as he pleases, no one to answer to, and guards who obey his every word... They all know Sukuna doesn't call Yuuji into his office to discuss his behavior, but they don't care. Not as long as Sukuna lets them have their way with one or two of the prettiest prisoners.

Not Yuuji, though. He is Sukuna's, and the guards know better than to go against his rule. The same goes for the other prisoners. If one of them dares lay a hand on Yuuji, the guards act faster than in any other situation, dragging the offender off to a couple of weeks in solitary.

In a way, Yuuji is safer than anyone at the prison. All for the price of being the warden's toy whenever Sukuna feels like playing with him...

Oh, my god, YES. I imagine Sukuna having taken Yuuji in after his parents died (under somewhat mysterious circumstances perhaps) and the people being so touched by their emperor's generosity toward his brother's son 🥹

Since Sukuna has no son of his own, Yuuji is expected to be named his heir, an expectation that seems even more likely when statues of Yuuji start to appear. They pop up all around Rome, often where statues of Sukuna himself stand. Nothing seems off about that, until word starts to spread that there also are several in Sukuna's home, and that they are of a rather different nature.

In almost every room in the residence, there are life-size statues of Yuuji in various states of undress. Some of them are eerily close to the statues men commission of their wives, with Yuuji showing loyalty and affection, and even symbols of fertility.

Those who witness them can barely look, turning their faces away or even to the ground in their presence, something that the Emperor seems to find highly amusing. He often steers people's attention to the statues, asking them their opinion on the likeness, pointing out concerning details, and wondering if they think he should commission the same artist again or if they can recommend someone else.

If Yuuji is present, he blushes crimson, further strenghtening the suspicion that Sukuna doesn’t see him as his heir. It becomes a well-known secret that their relationship is anything but proper, but what can they do? Sukuna is the Emperor, and despite his degeneracy, the army supports him completely. Anyone who dares to try and speak to him about Yuuji ends up demoted, by losing their seat at the senate or worse.

Sukuna spends his life with Yuuji by his side. Never marrying. Never having children. Never appointing an heir.

Frankly, he doesn’t care what happens once he dies. As long as he can have Yuuji, he will rule Rome with the iron fist that makes it possible to keep him.
