Just a friendly heads-up:
Questions (or whatever you wanna say, even if they're not questions) can be asked in English or German. German's my native language, but I get along just fine with English too.
What has changed most since you were a kid?
My mental health and my view of people. I've been dealing with depression ever since, and it's still with me today, got more and more present with every year that passed. At some point it was joined by paralysing anxiety disorders and a social phobia that cause stagnation.
I was bullied almost constantly from primary school, and it carried on into high school. Whether it was 'cause I looked "different", acted differently, was quieter, and when I did say something, didn't hold back (still the same today)... I even got bullied in primary school for developing breasts faster than the other girls.
I've become extremely cautious, reserved and mistrustful of people. It's hard to get through to me. But if someone makes the effort to understand me, they can see why I am the way I am.
I'm an incredibly tolerant person, but I don't extend tolerance to intolerance. Humanity's currently moving in a direction that's harmful to every minority.
[Resident Evil | original game lore] Is there something about Wesker that you think gets completely overlooked because people only see the villain?
I'd actually already answered that in the previous question. I reckon it gets overlooked a lot that Wesker could've turned out to be a completely different person if they hadn't made him into what he is today.
Just imagine Wesker without the zombie apocalypse as a caring father with kids. š„ŗ
[Resident Evil | original game lore] What do you think Wesker was like before everything, and do you think traces of that still exist somewhere?
I can't tell you what he was like as a kid before Spencer picked him up. Not sure if that's even been unravelled lore-wise.
I actually believe that, yeah, even with him carrying the Progenitor Virus. Wesker was reconditioned, groomed and abused as a kid, and turned into something he wasn't. I probably wouldn't have given up hope (if he'd let me get close to him in a what-if scenario) of getting through to him, even if I'd had to sacrifice a lot myself for it.
[CoD: MW | rebooted timeline] If Makarov said your name like it was something he'd already decided about, what does that do to you?
Depends very strongly on the context. But let's assume the following things...
I'd have to pull myself together real hard to not flinch and not choke on my cocoa. He'd bend down close enough to me (in my headcanon) that I can feel his breath. From behind he reaches under my chin and tilts my head back so I have to look at him. His lips real close to mine, my cheeks bright red like anything.
"K-Know the Japanese expression 'nani'? That fits pretty well here," would be my words, completely flustered. His smirk would drive me crazy, make me melt. And then the kiss would happen on his initiative. I'd kiss him back, at least after a few seconds of figuring out what's even going on. š
Would you ever date a conservative man, maybe even let it turn into something more?
o.O
Before I'd date a conservative man, I'd rather jump off a skyscraper. That's like wanting to drag the rights that other women fought for women like me (and are still fighting for) into a forest and shoot 'em point blank with a shotgun.
[CoD: MW | rebooted timeline] What do you think Makarov was like before he became who he is, and do you think traces of that still exist somewhere?
The problem with Makarov is, he already grew up in difficult circumstances (as far as I can remember, in the rebooted timeline too) and the environment around him wasn't exactly conducive. Which isn't an excuse, when you look at Simon, 'cause he wasn't doing any better back then.
Is there more to Vladimir than meets the eye? When I think about the original Makarov, I'd say absolutely not. But the rebooted version of him has way more facets, visible just in the way he carries himself. How he presents himself. How he acts.
If he'd had a more stable environment, someone who'd have kept him in check and set him straight? I reckon he'd be living a normal life today. Whether he could still be saved at this point? Yeah, I think so.
But Infinity Ward ain't gonna give us that, 'cause the game needs a villain and I reckon they wanna milk Makarov for as long as possible.
[CoD: MW | rebooted timeline] Do you think Nikto would even notice you, and does the uncertainty make it worse or better?
Counter-question... is there even something he wouldn't clock in mere seconds? š
[CoD: MW | rebooted timeline] Do you think Ghost would actually like you if he were real? Be honest.
Let's say he'd really take the time and have the patience to break through my barriers... enough for me to say more than just one-liners.
Probably? I'm very direct, I find it stupid to go around in circles like a dog just to wrap my words in cotton wool first. But I'm also incredibly stubborn and push back when something doesn't sit right with me. Quite a few people have already failed with me.
[CoD: MW | rebooted timeline] If Ghost showed up at your door right now, what's the first thing you'd do?
Immediately closing the door again and peering through the peephole, making sure it's really him. Ducking below the peephole's line of sight for a sec, then looking through again.
"I ain't buying anything!"
Most likely though, I wouldn't even open the door in the first place. Unannounced visits least of all. š
[Resident Evil games] If you were Albert Wesker's biological daughter, how would you feel about that?
Good thing I wasn't holding anything to drink just now. Might've accidentally spat it out. š
Oof... if Wesker were my dad... let's just say I wouldn't have any worries anymore. š¤£
