When you do something positive or helpful to others, do you prefer private recognition or public praise?
If someone wants to thank me, I'd rather they do it privately. Don't like being smack bang in the middle of all the attention.
What stops you from being happier?
What probably stops me the most from being happy is me, myself. I carry a lot of experiences around that shaped me: losses, hurts, disappointments. They've made me empathetic and strong, but also wary and cautious. I crave closeness and trust, but at the same time I'm scared of getting hurt again. That means I sometimes trip myself up when it comes to actually letting happiness in.
So really, it's not the world out there blocking me the most, it's the armour I've built up over the years. Easing that up or taking it off bit by bit is probably my biggest challenge.
Is there any trend you wish had never come into existence?
The "Tide Pod" Challenge, a ridiculously brainless trend where people willingly ate gel detergent pods as a dare.
Would you say that you are a jealous person?
It's very situational and depends on the circumstances.
