using this to answer questions from people that need help or are curious about me i suppose, since i usually get overloaded on discord and it gets confusing switching from person to person

Do you have any advice for finger control? I have been practicing this skill for almost 4 weeks. In the first weeks I improved my acc in finger control maps. But recently I have hit like a accuracy cap, where I can't or barely get more than 90% acc (V2 score) and it's a huge disadvantage in tournaments. I usually lose a lot of acc by sliders or +4 circles stacks (can be overlapped or not) and sometimes in these +4 circles stacks I leave the last circle without being tapped. Btw I'm 6 digits and the tournament that I will play have from 5.3 to 6 stars range.
finger control has a vast tree of maps you can classify it under, but for your range i would just tell you to get used to a tapping technique first on very simple and repetitive 5 note bursts, you can find any drum and bass song and get used to that pattern before trying to move on and get used to doubles and quads, you'll probably get exposed to note-note-slider and slider-note-note type triples as well which should be good practice. in general improvement i'd advise you to not only play these maps but also get a lot more maps to play as soon as you F2 on them (play more advice), being exposed to more maps improves your sightreading skills and makes your pattern encyclopedia bigger
What buttons do you use to tap and tap and what’s your opinion on tap x or tapping with mouse left click and x on keyboard
F, G
longer answer is (D+F)(G) because of my weird tapping technique that occurs depending on patterns/skillsets, D is not binded
tap+x/click+x is cool but it definitely trivializes tapping control or tapping in general, but i think with how difficult it is on average to learn, it balances itself out, like how bonk's playstyle trivializes some bounties but the difficulty of his playstyle kinda balances itself out, i think there's still a lot more nuances to that situation though
What sensitivity and dpi do you use I am using 1x send and 800 dpi but I feel that I still need to make it higher
i used to be on 650/700/750dpi 1x ingame for a while but i came back to 800 after switching mice (dpi deviation), currently on a lamzu maya x, assuming we're both on 1080p, 800dpi is pretty average, you can definitely raise it higher if you have a grip that kinda limits your range of motion, try 850 or 900 or even 1000, don't be afraid to change sens or trying things out
i have around 1k hours and I'm pretty good at basically every skill except speed and fast jumps. Specifically, i can deathstream 190 for 1k+ notes but on anything over 200 i just feel like I'm mashing or lose stamina instantly. Same for jumps, i can play 240 very well but 250+ my left hand just has no idea what to do. any tips?
if you can deathstream 190 without being uncomfortable or too much tensing you're doing something right, but for pushing bpm you have to unfortunately start tensing and developing a variation of your technique that strains you for quite a while until you get used to it, its basically mandatory with very few exceptions, same for jumps regardless of singletapping or alternating, i used to not be able to singletap 270bpm single-digit-number of jumps until i figured that i could use more of my wrist going up and down instead of just finger movement, try out more things you should be able to find something out i'm sure
I saw you switched your lekker switches springs to blacks a while ago how different does it feel compared to the original springs? Also what did you use to switch them
im assuming you mean that i switched them to heavier springs, yeah they're still 120g springs to this day, i just bought cuxiu springs that had weight options before wooting had official springs with different weights you can buy now, and its just opening up the switch and replacing the springs, they feel nice and i would play on this board more if i had time to play everyday since this is how i got used to my weird technique (same one i used/learned for my 150g keyboard)
Recently switched from tablet to mouse because I finally got frustrated that I can aim High 5 star to Low 6 star maps, but my tapping is stuck in the 4-5 star range (basically aiming with left hand cuz I'm left handed, then tap with my right hand). Now back on mouse, it feels weird but fun, and I can actually tap way better now that it's my dominant hand doing the tapping. Can you recommend me any tips to help make my jump aim better, cuz that's what I'm currently struggling at now when I made the switch. Thanks in advance <3
try to snap first and micro-adjust later, get used to your effective playarea with whatever your eDPI is, pattern jump maps (square jump practice) or any graveyard fullscreen jump map, corner jump maps, just to get a better feel how much you need to move around
Any tips for mouse drift?
there's two ways to go about it afaik, one is to play into the mouse drift, getting used to the weird angle your wrist/mouse would be in and getting used how your aim is affected trying to make lines from one note to another, the other is get super comfortable at repositioning at any point in a map, a good example is Gurbzy and he plays on 200 eDPI, he repositions quite literally on anything and makes it work, outside of these two the other obvious answer is to increase eDPI so that you move less = drift less, i also think arm aiming (keeping wrist mostly straight) is another but a lot of people typically don't like it
How do you get around the latency issue in Windows 10/11? I have a Wooting 80HE, but I also have the SayoDevice and other magnetic keyboards (they’re all the same), and I feel like my input is lagging more than usual. I tried reformatting the PC, but it didn’t work!
this issue seems very specific, do you use a wireless headset? any audio interfaces (most common cause), does your motherboard have its own audio drivers? (vs having realtek/the microsoft generic audio driver), keyboard settings on default still having the same problems? (maybe your profiles have key press set to some weird requirement such as letting go to input a key or something), there's a lot to trial and error, maybe going on r/osugame and asking could give you more answers
I heard you use 150g switches. Where do you buy them? I only found up to 120g on aliexpress.
keyword "used to" here's a sheet of scores i set with it https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I8FyJQEuDO6kaFC2rGnKkRUmGkYa_EqAJ09zXYM8Ix8/edit?usp=sharing, although currently my wooting 60he is modded to 120g xd, anyways i uh basically found 150g springs and spring swapped my gateron ink black v2s to 150g springs, the ones i found were by cuxiu which should also be available in aliexpress i think, have to make sure its the right spring length/diameter but i think its specified so you should be fine
What do you think of Touch Keypad?
i remember seeing it years ago, was interested and i think i got to see one irl during a meetup but never tried playing with it, feel like there's some benefit to it, especially in terms of understanding how you tap more, but with how it works in nature its gonna be bad for your fingers, like bone and muscle being sore or in pain, since keycaps or switch travel alleviate that
