I applaud you for speaking up about *m. The amount of bs they gotten away with actually wild. I can’t believe they are negating legality and still people are not addressing them & many popular accounts still follow them on bluesky after saying they don’t condone shit. I want to speak out but I fear since I do not read ddnne whatsoever or follow such account I’ll just be seen as a hater

ongoing csam discussion cw // hello! i mean personally speaking, while i respected them tremendously as a prominent author in the community since their works are dearly beloved by many, i don't read their works or follow them either because dead dove also isn't my thing. i also don't know exactly what bs you're referring to so my current opinion of them is only nuanced from their recent chatter on bsky. as soon as i saw their comment about legality and essentially comparing the existence of LGBT people with csam, i replied to them to inquire further about what in the hell they meant by that. it was hardly a clarification, and this ridiculous guise of conservative censorship and queer art really rubbed me the wrong way, as if disapproving of csam (of real, living people btw) somehow makes us radical liberals? kian (yuyomis) made a very well articulated thread in response to this, it's in my recent retweets and expresses exactly how i feel on the matter.

ultimately, it it's our job to protect the sanctity of children in nsfw spaces because they cannot do it themselves. if your response to csam is to immediately bend yourself backwards and upside down into a pretzel to try and justify it's existence, i don't want anything to do with you lol. their indirect comparison of queer art to csam is absolutely abhorrent and imho, terribly insulting to other queer people.
