You have translated ZhanCheng content for over a year. You should know that ZX himself said that when he has a long period of acting, he doesn’t come out of the character during that time. He is the character. So just because some fellow actress says “the bts is real” simply means that she didn’t understand ZX method for getting into a role at all. She just feeds shippers at this point
Thank you for sharing your opinion! So here’s my POV: she might be feeding shippers and that’s totally possible. But as you said I’ve translated a lot of ZhanCheng content, especially their bts and from what I’ve seen, during rehearsals, joking around, they don’t seem to be completely in character all the time.
Even though the director sometimes calls them GuoJiang, to me, what we see in the bts often feels like something in between ZhanCheng and GuoJiang rather than purely their characters because you can see their discussions and their reaction towards each other. Of course, that’s just how I interpret what I’ve watched and translated.
