Since i follow you on x i can see you fangirling over double helix 2nd couple 😄 But i got curious, because i don’t know how chinese entertainment works. Is them doing those livestreams together and appearing together part of the drama promotion? I just got curious, because why weren’t ZhanXhang allowed to do things like that? Or is it just a different approach on how to promote the show and everyone does it differently? Or can it be more of an artists choice how much they interact?
Hi! 😊 From what I've seen, it's mostly a matter of diff companies, diff artists, and diff career plans :) ZX and LXC are from diff companies, and their companies may have very diff ideas about promotion and long-term career development, not every company wants to push a cp focused route after a drama ends, especially if they have diff goals for the artists~
Sometimes when both actors are under the same company, or when the companies involved agree on a similar promotional strategy, it's much easier to arrange regular livestreams, joint events, fan meetings, and ongoing cp content. In those cases, the company may actively choose to continue building the pairing's popularity :)
So in case of ZX and LXC, it's more that their situation, companies, and likely their career paths are different, so the approach ended up being different as well. Every cp gets promoted a little differently depending on the people and companies involved 😊
