hello! hope you're doing well. firstly id like to say to ignore the people pressuring u for updates. you don't owe anyone anything!
i love ur writing, its so good. even though i suck at dealing w angst, ive read all of ur stories, and completely loved them all.
i wanted to ask, how do u outline stories? because i suck at outlining, and I usually just go for it but ive been trying to plan a bit more. but tbh sometimes when I plan too much, the story loses some of its shine and i want to change to writing one of the million other story ideas I have.

Mhm, a bit of both? I usually outline roughly what I want to happen and in what way my characters evolves and then I divide it into chapters. I usually ends up with more chapters anyway because I get more ideas along the way. For TCD, I had to plan a bit more because I have an external conflict as well, and it called for a bit more preparation.
How are you outlining? I know a lot of people need to outline with a bullet list because if you write too much in your outline, the brain might behave as if you’ve written the story and then you can lose that "shine". So instead of full fledged sentences, maybe try keywords? Focus on the theme you want to show, or on the characters’ development! I hope it helps a little ❤️
