I love how hyunchan seems reconnected. They were super close predebut and debut then there was a time we were starved for crumbs and lately it just feels like a reconnection between them. Their touches are gentle and natural. When it comes to them it doesn't feel like fan service. Even seeing Hyun tell chan to dance with him at kgma and chan instantly doing it even if he may not have wanted to haha just bc hyun wanted it was such an innocent playful moment between them. I'm rambling but I hope u understand

For hyvnjin, I feel like he definitely had a ton of jealousy for Ch@n’s affection for f3lix. I could be delulu abt that but I remember a comment hyvnjin made about how he used to watch all of chn’s room episodes but then I think he stopped somewhere around the time Chn started talking abt f3lix more and complimenting him. And when they had the 2kr, h was quiet during the chlix ep. It felt like their closeness made him jealous. My feeling is that “ship” kinda bugs him for reasons. Just my opinion

i try to stay away from these sort of theories or headcanons bc i dont wanna involve other ships or members into my own headcanons about hyunchan, but im pretty sure hyune said in their older 2kr that he just got bored of channie's staple background and format for his episodes [after which channie did change it way more often]

most of the time its just to avoid ships i don't vibe with or content i dont like tbh, i wont be airing out which ones I don't like but i prefer my feed with hyunchan only :)
also i don't like tags like incest or cheating or cannibalism so if someone posts a lot of those i would generally block

Do you have any theories on why hyvnchn is such a rare pair?

I just read a comment, saying the reason hyvnchn can do sexy concepts and songs together is because they are the duo with the least sexual tension/chemistry.

I was floored. RL3 could be hyvnchn’s literal s3x tape, and people will still be like, “but imagine if it were this duo instead.” Or “now make it ot8”.

I just don’t get it.

i wish i understood this phenomenon to have an answer for you love but im just as flabbergasted and confused as you are. it just doesn't make sense to me how a lot of the fandom treats hyunchan as a duo as sexual objects and thats it, refusing to see the incredible emotional bond and connection they have with each other. i think preferred ships have something to do with that though, liking another ship apart from hyunchan is fine and dandy but reducing hyunchans existing real dynamic to sexual tension or whatever is so weird and unnecessary. and people tend to do that so their ships feel more "real"...

also what the fuck kinda comment is that 😭😭 LEAST sexual chemistry??? why is it either 0 or a 100 with these people. and still they refuse to see how romantic hyunchan is 💀 the fact escape is clearly a gay tragedy love story and they both were fully aware of it and leaning into it and saying how moved they were by the mv is proof enough of their emotional connect to each other... wanting to escape with your lover away from the world because you only have each other???????
and that's not even mentioning red lights. people only see red lights as a sex song while it has such a vulnerable theme of pure obsession to the point of ruin. and the fact that they BOTH relate to it only goes to show how deeply obsessive they both are and that's not something everyone can relate to or understand, therefore they Get Each Other™ in ways very few others can.

ALSO it pisses me off when people want or ask for an ot8 version of hyunchan songs or another member/duo instead. like hello thats their artistry??? its THEIRS. not our problem the duo you want has a different flavour and artistry, you cannot be stealing hyunchan's art and paste another pair onto it as if its an empty template 😭😭

sorry i rambled these things always annoy me sijdksnfkd but anyway being in our hyunchan bubble and ignoring these comments is the best course of action, the people who get it get it the people who don't dont 🙏
