If you could be transported to any universe of your choosing, which would you pick and what would you do there?

It seems like such a simple answer but honestly? Pokémon.
Outside of being able to pick a magical partner creature to spend my life with (or several if going down the trainer route) the world seems fairly idyllic and a genuinely nice place to live. Technology is reliable, people are mostly friendly, and on the odd occasion where major cataclysms occur, they seem to be very localised and easily solved by some random 10 year old anyway.
I don't think I would even become a trainer. I would just live ab ordinary, happy life with my partner Pokémon. Perhaps I would work at a Pokémon daycare or something.

for some reason i always think about kingdom hearts whenever i get asked this question. what an absolutely absurd and wonderful universe you'd step into if that were real

the very question has me fighting against my instincts since any universe id think of initially (middle earth, star wars) are in states of conflict where im unlikely to survive for long.
my cheeky answer therefore is to be transported into Elder Tales (Log Horizon)as a player, like the humans are, rendering my an undying video game character. that way i could explore, make friends and play a game with less consequences of dystopia

easily pokémon, and honestly more because of its vision of society than just the critters, as much as i love them too. i'd probably still end up a computer-touching OL, but in a tech industry that wants to make actually useful things
