honestly idk why i dont read syongnen, its just one of those pairings that didnt immediately grab me but i do see how other people would just assume its the most heteronormative one :/

But also yes I see that ppl get mad abt them being heteronormative but then. Like. They will use the same 'heteronormative' aspects for their own ship and then its just a matter of making up reasons to not like a ship rather than just not being interested in it

Syongnen might not be my #1 ship but I love them alongside syotnen so idk why exactly people don’t like the ship. Because it’s one thing if it’s about the fans but overall not liking it because they see it as fake is just ??? And then you see those are the same people spreading the whole “wb and sc hate each other” shit and it’s so odd. I remember when I was getting into the fandom being kind of confused as to why people shipped wb and sc together but I learned to not judge and along time I grew to really liking the pair, but that’s just me. All of my syongnen writers get love because you guys work hard ❤️

to anon who asked abt mama park's nickname for sc, "lovable sc" isnt more special than others' nicknames bc theyre all just being called what are true to their personalities. though outside rps, you'd come to wonder how truly sweet and kind sc acts with wb's parents for them to call him lovable (other egs can be noted how respectful he treated at's dad during radio shows + str's mom gifted him a bday cake, and how he never fails to thank all of their parents when giving speeches or during festive celebrations). in an rps way, it's cute how he went from the scary senior trainee who made wb call his mom saying "i dont think i can do this" to "lovable sc-nie". it makes you think just how much did wb tell his mom abt sc taking care of him for 6-7 years despite their lack of interaction on cam. sc truly has so much love poured into his soul to be giving everyone a piece of his big big heart

i think wb would initiate the breakup because hes so devoted to his profession and public image, and sc would be on the same boat too but pretty shaken up initially
See i agree in some sense like I do think they would see eye to eye about it but I think as much as wb is a realist hes also a dreamer and would probably have a piece of himself that is very hard to confront that believed they'd be ok with dating in private (same with sc). Which is why im still undecided as to who would Speak Up about the 'need' to break up. And i also think that in terms of wbs public image (and just with anyone in the public eye in general), its hard to predict that you are going to have fans. If that makes sense. Like obviously we all know wb is literally like a top 1% idol, but when you're starting out doing anything I think theres always a worry or a doubt as to whether things will go well or if your debut will fall through at the last second. That whole part of the syongnen lore is the hardest thing to map out for me bc they both are so similar in what they want even if their personalities are different. If that makes sense

No exactly like each dynamic between them fills a little piece of satisfaction inside of me. Also wholeheartedly believe that str is emotionally intelligent enough to sort out whatever the hell goes on with syongnen and provide them with an outsider pov delivered gently enough to push them in the right direction (JUST DATE EACH OTHER)
I usually think of it as like. Syotsyong are in a more casual relationship (like not exclusive but emotionally/sexually dependent) and then a similar thing ends up happening between syotnen whilst syongnen are facing the horrors in the background and then it all gets sorted out through the power of 3 way love

Is Wonbin mom's nickname for Sungchan is a little special than the nicknames for other members?? I don't know any Korean words, so pls explain me. I found out that nickname for Sungchan is trending in X, so I'm curious about that. Pls....
I wouldnt say its necessarily more special than the others, each of her addressals were extremely heartfelt and kind and it wouldnt be right to say any are better than the others, but I think it puts into perspective syongnens relationship (not in a shipping sense) a little more. Like I said previously, ppl seem to think theyre not close at all so when things like this happen its very intriguing to ppl invested in it because its yet another instance of syongnen being closer off camera than they are on camera
