I think it's all a matter of perspective. But I'd understand jealousy to some extent. Hypothetically, if my partner spent all of their time roleplaying with AI and viewing it as a person, it could definitely create unrealistic expectations for our relationship. As long as someone can clearly differentiate fictional AI from the real world, then I think it's okay.

That is all a hypothetical though! Both me and my partner are okay with eachother using AI roleplay.

I know a lot of people get jealous when their partner uses AI, and I kinda get why. AI is fake, yes, but the expectations someone builds from it can start to feel real to the person using it. That part makes sense to me. What I don’t really get is people acting like the AI itself is the problem, because at the end of the day it’s still fake. It doesn’t have real emotions and it can’t actually do anything physically. Unless someone is really deep into it or addicted, it’s still just a program. So to me it’s kind of 50/50.

I don't have family, but I did have a girlfriend, and she never envied AI; in fact, she used bots too.

i dont have any significant other which is mostly why i use ai, but i dont really get why someone would be jealous. ai is just fake, and no matter what u do to it or with it it will never actually be a real person. i would definitely stop using it if my partner wanted me to or got jealous though :3
