I haven't yet finished the first prompt... can i claim a second prompt at this moment? pretty please 🙏
hello! we understand wanting to claim multiple prompts, but we are concerned about prompt hoarding.
if we were to allow multiple claims before submissions of the initial claim, there might be people who hold onto multiple claims and only drop them last minute, which is also unfair to other writers who may have wanted to claim the prompt but were unable to do so.
there is still a month before claiming closes, so the prompts are still there waiting for you!

Ive claimed my prompt long ago but havent yet started writing 😭😭😭🙏but i think itd be great if i get to know the deadline so i could fit the fic writing in my schedule!

hi! not sure if we understood you correctly, but if you're referring to posting to the fest collection, the collection will only be open to writers who have claimed a prompt or submitted a self prompt!

hello hello!!! there is a prompt i have fallen in love with,,, but i already claimed my first pref, is there any way to hold on to it? if not are we allowed to write for a prompt thats already taken just for fun ><
hi there! unfortunately, there's no way to hold prompts :") we would like to prevent hoarding of prompts and also ensure that as many claimed prompts are submitted as possible!
but yes, if a prompt interests you, we don't see why you can't write it; the fic just wouldn't be posted in the fest collection!

hi! i see, the submission guidelines will be sent closer to the deadline, but you can always drop us a dm when you're ready to submit and claim your 2nd prompt! ☺️
