hi elli! what you posted about tdip woo made me so curious!! we know woo is scared of not being able to move while conscious (hence the fear of anesthesia), and i remember the drabble of hongjoong struggling to get woo to bathe (i LOVE that drabble and im obsessed with feral and/or omega rights activist woo. i hope you write more early tdip topaz if inspo strikes!), but i never put it together that he was afraid of bathing/showering. i’m not sure hongjoong did at that point either. did i miss something? i assumed woo was just rebelling against being told what to do- was that hj’s impression at the time as well? how did that day end?

No, you didn’t miss anything! It was very much left up in the air at the end of that drabble why Woo was acting like he was.
But it is bc of his fear of bathing/showering. Or more accurately refusing to wash himself is a defense mechanism bc he figured out that the alphas in his old pack would…leave him alone if he didn’t take care of his personal hygiene. Ofc the leader alpha figured out what he was doing after a while and forcibly made him get clean, which is why Hongjoong trying to make him take a bath for entirely innocuous reasons makes him react that badly 🫠
I’ve been working on Woo’s backstory recently and outlining a plot for a little fic abt Woo joining the pack and falling in love with San. It’ll likely be abt 30-40k words and 4 chapters 🥰
