nah, i stand by my characterisation of jh in the tdip-verse. it has everything to do with the thematic concerns i want to portray with his character and nothing to do with using asexuality/greysexuality to marginalise him.
AND as an ace person i resent the idea that making a character ace/greyspec is somehow code for relegating them to the background. jh deserves to be treated respectfully and lovingly, but so do ace people!
it is my humble opinion that i do both with tdip jh 🤍
that being said i understand your concern - i hate seeing the way this fandom treats jh too and i too sometimes have a knee-jerk reaction to seeing him labelled as ace. but attacking people who do actually care deeply abt portraying him well (and portraying asexuality well!) is not what we should be doing.
