oh, this one’s hard. i actually grew up reading classics, mostly. the secret garden, pride & prejudice, the hunchback of notredame, little women, the chronicles of narnia, anne of green gables, romeo & juliet (i don’t know if this one counts since it’s a play)… i don’t think i could pick a favorite.

so, not exactly elementary school friendly, heh, but i loved them all dearly. oh! i did read a lot about the babysitters club, too.
