hi, anon who didn't have any concept ideas here. guess who got a banger idea
anyway I'm coming back here to ask about something portfolio-related this time. so I only have one finished piece relating to my idea but I also have a bunch of concept sketches that I could use as samples, since they're all related would I be allowed to stitch the concepts together into one image for a single sample or would each different concept count as an individual sample?
If you have multiple sketches, grouping them into one or a handful of images would be ideal. We recommend organizing them similar to how you might compose your work for the project.
I don't actually have any concept ideas for the game. If I were to apply to the concept artist role, would I be able to have a role where I draw for one of the writers' concepts instead, like a spot artist?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer spot artist positions for this project. However, if you're short on ideas, there is a document linked in the application forms with the ideas submitted in the interest check. Copying them 1 for 1 isn't advised, but hopefully something on the list can spark your interest!
What happens if the game is released before the zine?
[copied over from Neospring]
We'll keep working on it and release it as normal! If the game is a holiday release, it will come out before the zine does, but the schedule is designed in a way that everyone's pieces should be well underway and the release won't affect what gets represented in the zine.
