monochrome plot summary in 2 seconds go
(2022, Jinx is 19 Ben is 20) Jinx attempts to kill Ben, fails, and spends a year trying to find out where he lives. Finds him (2023, Jinx is 20 Ben is 21), realizes killing him would do him no good so he settles for making his life difficult by being around him all the damn time. The more he showed up the more he started to actually '''tolerate''' Ben, which made him realize he might of had very specific feelings that FREAKED him out since he was adamant he was straight and also Ben's in a relationship.
Said relationship Ben is in is with a dude named Piotr, a guy he's dated since high school that royally helped him out of a bad home life and was generally a very loving partner. However the older the two became the more they realized their ideals in life are different and it was taking a quiet toll on Ben. Ben's first interaction with Jinx really opened his eyes about things regarding himself that Piotr was kinda apprehensive to. After Jinx showed up in Ben's life he eventually learned that ignoring Jinx's dumbass comments made him act like a normal person, allowing him to actually get to know him. The two eventually learning they had more in common than they thought and becoming very close.
The rest i'll let people put together.. but heres a helpful guide.
A lot of ppl ask me if Piotr cucked Jinx or if Jinx cucked Piotr, to which my answer is Ben was dating Piotr before he ''''dated'''' Jinx. Anytime Ben and Jinx are together it's to be assumed Ben has broken up with Piotr atp.
"how did Piotr and Ben break up" is smth ive been asked a billion times, and to answer, that specific comic is something I'd want to save for a later date. I really want to express the situation fully and will probably only be when the comic is being made. gomen oomfs.
After this vague event is where the majority of my art takes place in. (ben and jinx being roommates)
"is Piotr a bad guy?" No lol hes a sweetheart. He had all the right to not like Jinx for obvious reasons, the main problem with him regarding Jinx is not trusting Ben's judgement on him and (not really a probably but is what it is) said aforementioned different povs on life.
"Will you ever make a comic" yes!!! i just need to make a neocities page to properly post it on which is why its taking me forever..

"the fucks the point of the other three losers in your intro (rev, grace, tom,) if those 3 guys are what seems to be the focus" Rev's story is related to Jinx's personal story, same thing with Grace and Ben. Tom exists because without him Jinx would of probably done something super stupid and the story would of ended in like 2 seconds. They have their own stuff but ik thats not what ppl are mostly asking for lol.
"are ben and jinx dating?" yesn't. As I said before Jinx has some real issues with sexuality and verbal communication so they never officially put a label on themselves (theyre not fwbs cuz theyre not just friends and i dont think the term situationship fits) Theyre dating but without the title of dating or really telling anyone about it. yes this makes things complicated at times.

Do any of them play any instruments?
Jinx is really fucking good at playing piano but he thinks it's a lame instrument to play unlike guitar or drums so he doesn't tell anyone. Though if he is in a bar and has had a few you bet your top dollar his ass is stumbling over to it with a 50/50 chance of playing actual bullshit or absolutely nailing it.
Ben also probably knows how to play piano; I imagine him playing the cello sometimes too. Not as fun as an answer because he doesn't really enjoy playing instruments unlike Jinx.

does jinx smell bad
Jinx doesn't smell bad, but he smells VERRYY MUCH like a dude if that makes sense. he smells like BO. I've described it as a boys locker room smell, however not in a bad way but more of a "oh yup this is most certainly a body that sweats and has oils" way.
Ben likes it so its a win for him regardless.

Is there anything Jinx is afraid of? Like a fear of a specific creature or a phobia (such as claustrophobia)?
ermm I got asked this before and tbh, for any phobia at least, idk LOL! I can't think of any. I don't think he'd be scared of being in tight spaces, just annoyed. I don't think he's scared of bugs or stereotypical dirty animals (rats, opossums, roaches, flies, yk) I just think he doesn't want them in his room or doing nasty shit near him. I don't think he gaf about the ocean or space enough to be scared of it.
But jinx isn't the most keen on the idea of being forgotten, and hates the idea of people finding out certain things he'd rather keep between himself.

What's Ben and Jinx's favorite date they've been on?
Ben and Jinx don't really go on 'dates' so I can't think of a singular instance, but they do go out often and do things that are basically dates, so i'll answer for that.
Jinx likes taking Ben to random ass places. Forests, abandon buildings, old subway passages, lakes, fields in the middle of bumfuck no where, that sorta thing. But they did that too as friends so I don't know if that counts LOL. More traditionally, if Jinx was feeling fancy he'd take Ben somewhere on the north side and find a kinda sketchy diner and eat with him there. Then take him to the alley and yk, do what Jinx does best.
For Ben, it'd be something more romantic. Dressing nice and eating somewhere then sitting together at a park and just talking about nothing, very tender. Or staying at home in bed and drinking while a movie plays on Jinx's laptop. He's a sap at heart hehe.
