I imagine in the au she never realized she was trans bec she's very much stuck in her head about football and never connected the discomfort of who isg thinks 'he' is and who isg is meant to be until after kaiser enters the picture and really hammers in how diff they are. Kaiser is his ideal of what he wants to be for the world of football but there's still something... missing? That missing 'piece' finally reveals itself after kiis get together and isg starts to act 'girly', or just more comfortable, (who he really in inside) and teasingly calls isg, "a good girl," after isg does something to please him and he gets the Epiphany of the century. From there, isg dresses differently to find something to reflect what he feels inside and kis is delightfully supportive. He not only bagged the heart of blue lock but also got himself a beautiful wife 😉
