I was in heavy denial about my feelings. That was the play for me for years. If I felt like I had feelings for somebody I'd just ignore them and bury them until they went away. I always had excuses why a relationship "wouldn't work".

Hanging out with Kacey I definitely felt feelings percolating and I did my damndest to ignore them. I didn't go so far as to cut off spending time with her because I was having such a good time during a period where I honestly was incredibly stressed out. There were several moments where I was like "fuck... do I? oh fucking god DAMMIT"

I kept it to myself. I didn't tell anybody about it. I'm sure people assumed things but I just kept to myself hoping that I'd just move past it like I always did. But kacey cornered me and I had to confront my feelings. And whoops, turns out I like her a lot.
