speaking of the mc topic, funny enough this whole meltdown from itfs, skfs and mgm fans reminded me a LOT of the mha fandom a year ago. For context, basically bkdk (which is like the biggest ship of deku, same as itfs in jjk) and bkg fans got angry and full on hating on deku bc they don’t agree with the ending of the manga. they’re telling him to die, that he’s a liar, that he’s ‘changed’, comparing that other character would treat the person much better, like basically the same exact thing mgm fans been saying to yuuji this week. Is this like a basic 101 guide to ship popular ship? Blaming the mc just bc your fav and ship didn’t get your view of happy ending? I just don’t get it, it’s fine if you’re disappointed by the ending but this kind of meltdown seems a bit excessive, no? Ugh anyway ik the discourse after the chapter dropped will be back tenfold. I’m kinda relieved yuuji fans has gone a lot better on clapping back the haters now
