hi! this is a good question.. so i didn’t want the fic to be over the course of days or months. i tend to very loosely plan so in my head it was “party” “baseball” “apologize” then i just worked around that. i think having it centered in a short frame of time made it more intense in a way? i wanted emotions high!! i wanted jeno shitty and chenle desperate!! here’s chenle at this point of a toxic situation with jeno and he should really leave after this, but of course he doesn’t. so yeah it was kind of just a decision to make it a quick peak into this mess he’s gotten stuck in. (also just vibes tbh. i write based off the vibes) i hope this answers your question (:

awhh don’t ever feel nervous i love chatting! and i LOVE this question. sometimes i think about writing a follow up, but it’s more out of love for my characters than plot reasons. i think the story ended there, nahyuck together, haechan still working on himself. 6 months in the future i see noren married for sure. they’re very happy and jisung is getting ready to move out, let them live their married life although it makes them all a little bit sad. but he's making more money with his photography, and i imagine mark and chenle take him in. mark’s relationship works out because he deserves it after searching for so long. i actually almost added side chenji but couldn’t commit, soo maybe that happens? it’s for sure a possibility for them. as for nahyuck.. they take it slow. haechan is very intent on that. they’re happy and sometimes haechan’s old habits slip through, but jaemin is very patient with him. he doesn’t let them fight. i also imagine them together ALL the time. very clingy, happy, annoying. and jaemin is very much whipped. he’s the ideal written by a woman man bc that’s how i always imagined him. and haechan works really hard to make sure their relationship isn’t codependent, i imagine him grateful every day that he really can have it all—the friends and the boyfriend. they do move in together eventually, jaemin’s place. it’s bigger and has no memories of evil ex boyfriends. and haechan is the one that proposes in the future which is a shock to them both. and renjun is haechan’s best man.. a role he takes very seriously. basically they’re happy together! they make it work even if it is a slow process.
