like a glowing star was inspired by firefly, star wars (which is currently Eating My Brain) and aesthetically the monster world in yin-yang master 2021 which is Not sci fi lmao. feel alive was very matrix/neuromancer/blade runner inspired, and i think my current sci fi wip is veryyyyyyy star wars-influenced, maybe a tiny bit of firefly in there too
