I was thinking of Lycan-shifter CC, who knows without a doubt the little nurse taking care of kittens is his mate.

WW is a human, blind yet tenacious. However, his curiosity and big heart gets the best of him.

One full moon, CC shifted nearly triple his human's size and he followed WW home, lurking in the shadows, not making a peep until he stepped into a back alley where it was easier to access his apartment. That was when CC pitched his tone and began to whine like an animal in danger.

WW stops and immediately turns to the sound, his cane dragging along the cement.

"I'm coming, little one" he'd say, following the retreating whines. "Don't run.. I won't hurt you."

CC lures WW into the woods, deeper and deeper where sound goes absent.

Along the way WW lost his cane, hands braced in front of him and feet extra careful. "L-little one? I can't hear you.. please."

That's when CC huffs a wet puff of air over Suowei's head, standing behind him.
"You're the little one here," CC growls, voice a gravely distortion.

"W-What?"

CC inhales through his nose taking in his mate's pure, innocent smell and the scent of fear slowly tainting it. His jowls open, thick drool slipping from his sharp teeth and long tongue. He licks his maw and growls appreciatively.. "Sweet thing.. You have no idea what the dates have lined up for you.."
