Maybe because I love Gojo so much but I feel like he needs a partner who would never grow tired of him forever.
Who would never feel intimated by his presence or power. Who would never feel inferior to him at any point in time even if he’s really good at everything he does. Someone that admires him, revers him but never feels the need to put him on an unattainable pedestal. Someone who would love his obnoxious, sometimes arrogant annoying ass despite wanting to rip his hair out sometimes. Someone who would let him be vulnerable without judgment or always expect him to clean up after them or take care of the hard tasks alone. Someone who would celebrate his wins and comfort him in his loses even though they are few and far between. It’s quite a thing that the only person I can think of in the entire verse who meets all those criteria happens to be Yuji. So unfortunately there was always only one shipping route for me despite the vast majority crucifying us at the stake for it. Perhaps if Yuji didn’t exist then….. actually it would be ME next in line.
