Those it///fs people swarming that goyuu post just reminded me of something I’ve always thought. And it isn’t all itfs fans of course, there’s normal ones out there. But I noticed it’s mostly the latinx fixed itfs stans that sometimes get like this . They hate yuji bottoming more than anything. So when they get vitriolic over goyuu or sukuita or any of those ships it isn’t even because they find it disgusting like they preach cause more often than not you’d find that they either follow or enjoy sk/fs and sometimes gf/sh too. It’s the idea of bottom Yuji that truly pisses them off because they also harass fushiita fans too(same group of people) so am I really supposed to believe they find these ships disgusting or they find bottom Yuji disgusting?
I saw a tweet like two weeks ago that said bottom Yuji is gross (same group of people) and they were all championing the sentiment then someone who appears to be a switch enjoyer asked the OP why and they said it’s cause Yuji doesn’t fit the part of being an omega that Megumi looks more like an omega. You ask them who made those rules and what are the characteristics for being an omega or a bottom and it’s all sorts of stupid skin tone takes and body shaming takes. Atp I truly try to avoid speaking to them if I can because a lot of their reasoning goes far beyond fiction and goes into racial and gender stereotypes I truly do not condone or enjoy.
Do you know what really fucking sucks? Those people are examples of the bigoted fujoshi that anti-fujoshi think we all are. But they're less likely to get shit than we are, because bottom!Megumi fans have learned that they can avoid most of the heat if they deflect it onto Goyuus by pretending they're objecting to "paedophilia" as opposed to just disliking bottom!Yuuji. They kill two birds with one stone this way.
P.S. This isn't that important, and don't take this as me scolding you or anything like that, but I have been told (i.e. by my Puerto Rican best friend; I've also seen Latin Americans elsewhere speaking on this) that Latin Americans generally don't like the label "Latinx", one reason being that the "x" doesn't actually work in that context when speaking Spanish. One alternative is "Latine"; I think just "Latin" also works. Sometimes I type "Latams" and nobody's objected to that one so far.
