mostly sludge/doom metal, specifically Windhand and Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean. Predatory Void too. i haven't been doing great at all, and when i'm not mentally sound or am just severely exhausted music is hard or impossible to listen to. i usually opt for ambient/drone instead because it's absolute bare minimum, but sludge and doom have slower tempos and are usually repetitive + long, so there is significantly less mental effort required for listening. the genres are also great at conveying destructive, sisyphean emotions in both lyrical and audio form, which makes it even more of a comfort genre for me
