not hatin on the anon abt the giving no fucks thing but idk i don’t want writers to have to change their personalities/develop a thick skin over fandom. i want people to stop taking them over the coals, actually 😭. this is unrelated, they’re def not saying this but ppl shouldn’t have to give no fucks for an entitlement problem to go away 🙁
no i agree anon. i wish i made that more clear in my previous response. it’s so unfair to ask writers to basically stop complaining about people taking them for granted. similarly, part of my “thick skin” comes from the fact that i have mostly been treated very well by this fandom. i get weird anon messages but those are easy enough to ignore. what would really hurt my feelings would be if people did the whole “screenshot and shit talk out of context” thing that kicked off this whole bit of drama. if people have been doing it with my fic, then i’m fortunate enough to have not seen it.
