thank you! i dont think im the best to ask for this aha... i guess for digital art in general, its always good to make use of the tools offered, but dont get too lost in them. like with layers! its very helpful to use the layer effects, but for me, its just easier to do everything on just one or two normal layers to focus on the actual drawing. e.g. using multiply for shadows is really helpful for getting the color right, but i usually merge it with the painting layer after so i can add more dynamics to the colors or manipulate its shape better (if that makes sense...). limiting layers is also needed for procreate because the bigger the canvas is, the lower the layer limit becomes 😢 (not that it matters to me haha my most is 5 layers) but its still something to be aware of!

i also use liquify and transform, but i try to limit it because it can rly mess up the pixels and blur it for some reason 😭

thats all i can give about procreate tips sorry 😢 im more knowledgeable about drawing than the app i use 😆 procreate just happens to be the most convenient for me
