KaSu said he actually wrote a few more scenes after the kiss, but decided to keep it as the ending after seeing the output and didn't shoot those anymore...makes complete sense of course (amazing way to end the film🫶)but yeah I can't help but wonder what he wrote omg

Dorothy sees Karthi in the mirror, her lips tremble slightly while tearing up, and then breaks into a huge smile. Karthi looking at her like she's the only woman in the world. Her going to him, and then they just look at each other and kiss...all of this with the most beautiful background music ever...I think this is the peakest peak I've ever experienced in a theatre (not to mention with all the cheers and claps)

Seeing all these comparions, I wonder how such a film would've been received if it was made with young Rajini n Kamal...funny thing is Rajini said he'd love to do a transwoman role just a few years ago

Friend did you watch Mahaan? KaSu kinda loses it in the final act, but still it's a good film! Sananth's in it too. And not to mention, devastating old man yaoi

Omgg I thought the same...for Karthi, Muthumani and the convo with Vadivu was pretty convincing (Ill also say i felt it in the parotta n the chudidar scenes), but i soo badly wanted to see how Dorothy exactly thought about Karthi as a romantic interest...was she always in love? Or did she fall in love during the trip? Them showing Dorothy also missing Karthi in that one month gap would've been so good🥹. But then Dorothy's expression on seeing Karthi had me bawlinggg

Can't believe people aren't convinced about Dorothy's ending...Muthumani and then How Else to Name it literally felt like heaven in the theatre😭, paired with Sananth's and Rishikanth's insane acting😭😭their onscreen chemistry was also something

I was waiting for your VAS review😭the way it would've flopped if not for Suriya and Mamitha (anyone else would've been insanely cringe) and the 1st half...Suriya looked wayyy too good omfg, but literally all the female characters were underwritten, and not to mention that Raveena Tandon's dialogue at the end omggg💀the few good scenes single handedly saved the film
And gimme a middle aged romcom with Suriya in this look please (we're never getting it)
