You get a magical familiar of your choosing. They can perform minor magic based on their species (like a flying familiar could maybe cushion a fall or something). What do you choose and what is the magic they can perform for you?
A rat or a fox. Or both. And the only magic I’d need them to provide for me is fluffy companionship. But some minor magic for their own would be nice, like longevity and an ability to escape harm, like reflexive teleport or something.

An Axolotl that could create water at will, so you are never left thirsty perhaps.
