WE LITERALLY KNOW NOTHING ABT THEM IT SUCKS 💔💔💔 my personal theory is that he got them after trying to bring something dead back to life for the first time (when he found out that you definitely 100% can’t do that because of how badly it backfired and almost killed him) but he never actually mentioned getting his scars during that incident and hasn’t elaborated on them anywhere else either… afaik

Good to know I am not the only one with misuoe withdrawal... Since you recently mentioned their parallels, here are some of my favorites: Initially, Mithra looks unkempt and Owen well put together, but after knowing them Owen is easily gross and Mithra can be effortlessly elegant. The same is true with their intellect; Owen prides himself with his mind games whereas Mithra is a very simple minded person, yet the longer you know them, Owen can be so childish and Mithra profoundly wise. I love both their similarity and contrast so much aaaaaaa
