I may have missed a previous question about this, but when writing abmb Seonghwa were you thinking his character might have BPD?? The way he feels worthless unless he has his favorite person’s attention actively on him, and the second its’s gone it’s as if it was never there in the first place…..the way he’s started to test hongjoong, to see if he would get jealous or mad or act in a way that proves that hj does indeed love sh (as if everything he’s ever done for him his entire life isn’t proof enough)….idk i don’t have BPD myself but I’ve been very close to people who do and it’s very hard to watch them ruin their relationships with the people that love them the most. I also think labels are too shallow to truly explain the beautifully fucked up and complicated trauma bond you’ve woven between them, but I just wanted to tell you I #analyzed that hehe <3
You know what... that's a very interesting observation because I didn't have anything specific in mind for SH's character at all. The way I wrote this was just going with the flow while I projected a bit (maybe more than a bit)...on both HJ and SH...so I don't know what that could mean 😭💔
But yes, there's a lot of complex fuckery (pun intended) going on between them. Trying to unweave it all or finding the beginning and end of it or trying to define it would probably make my head explode.
