Heeey question - spectral again: How often is amantadine used off-label to treat ADHD symptoms?

Depends on the doctor! It's a good daily medication for ADHD that is NOT a stimulant, which is typically first line. There's lots of reasons someone may not want to be on a stimulant, or why a doctor may not want to start a stimulant. In those cases, amantadine can be used! Bupropion is also an option, as are things like guanfacine. Some doctors reach for it more often than others, so it's hard to say how frequent, but it's common enough!
