kasumi was an inpatient in the same hospital kafka was frequently confined in. they met one day when rinka asked to fetch kasumi from the rooftop, since it was raining that day. she formally introduced kasumi to kafka after a while again, and the two would become best “friends” 👌🏼

my favorite kafusumi date spots are usually the aquarium and the oguro hospital river, but another date idea i really loved (though haven't posted yet) is candlemaking with kafka 💕

it's actually for figachi 🥹🙏🏻 i feel proud because i rarely write or explore fantasy prompts/setting ><
selix (chi) was very sick that she started seeing her older brother (who already passed away 2 millennia ago) in figaro, who was attending to her.
my hc was that selix was crying and asking figaro if her faith in figaro when he was still revered as a god was not enough, leaving her the only survivor of the tragedy. figaro then realizes not everyone was wiped out from the avalanche, because selix came from his village that he supposedly should protect.

i associate her with yellow ixora! 💛✨️ it's usually tied to various cultural and medicinal aspects, but it symbolizes a prosperous, happy life, which i hope kasumi will find herself in that position one day 🙏🏻
a little lore on kasumi's other flower is that her other favorite flower (roses) are the HAMA (the place where 18trip takes place) representative flower. specifically, i also associate kasumi with pink roses, which represents affection, but not in a way that's intense as giving red roses. it's a more “subtle love”!

hello! i'm a bit shy in sharing figachi but hey 👋 i'll do my best to tl;dr it 🩷
chi (who goes by selix in mahoyaku, prior to the previous sage giving them a japanese name) was a child devotee of figaro, who was revered as a god in their village. their eyes met once, and chi felt like it was both a curse and a blessing from the gods for figaro to look their way.
however, when the avalanche happened, figaro thought there were no survivors. there is one sole survivor, who will eventually wish for figaro's downfall. chi awakened her powers as a wizard, which saved them from the tragedy, but this gave them a new goal: they wanted to see figaro's downfall because he didn't save their family. why leave her all alone to live?
but over the years they followed figaro (discreetly), they never once saw that. [other stuff omitted] but chi and figaro would meet once when paying respect to tiletta's grave, and chi realizing that she wants to spend her remaining years making it a world where figaro and tiletta's children can live freely without loneliness.
they would later meet again as the current sage's wizards (chi is described as an “anomaly”) and they would be wary and playful with each other... until one of them falls in love.
