this is late but i was just thinking about it and i think a couple days ago maybe more you said you were on the job hunt again and I am too and we're both canadian so i just thought lol but i wanted to know also are u finished school cause i have classes come september and i wonder if thats hindering my chances of employment. also is this a weird ask 😭?

technically i’m both done school and not done school lol i have a bachelor’s degree already but i’m working toward a graduate diploma. i have one class to take this fall and another in the winter and then i have to do my practicum.
in my experience any retail job i’ve had has been really understanding and flexible and i’ve not had a problem working in terms of scheduling, but i know now that i’m definitely not cut out to do more than like one class while working especially when it’s full time hours.
it’s so hard to find a job right now though :( even retail doesn’t seem to have a lot available in my town rn which is weird because it’s summer and usually there’s at least seasonal positions. i’m lucky that i already have a job and can be picky about what i apply to but it’s definitely a long and frustrating and honestly demoralizing process

lolll felt a bit silly sending a serious ask about omegaverse hopefully its interesting to answer tho i'm generally not super big on omegaverse cause i think it can be sort of gay het sometimes if that makes sense lol but i've read interesting a/b/o fic too so it makes me wonder how people think of who as what
omegaverse is as serious as you want to make it <3 i totally get why people think it’s heteronormative and misogynistic and i’ve seen the counter-arguments and at the end of the day i don’t think i really care.
i think a LOT of people approach assigning omegaverse roles based on outward appearance and surface level demeanour (like making someone more masculine an alpha and someone more feminine and omega, much like you see with top/bottom). i don’t think it needs to be so black and white in that way. i certainly have my preferences but i’m also open to a lot!
my riize omegaverse preferences:
shotaro - alpha or omega depending on the pairing
eunseok - omega but alpha is cool too
sungchan - alpha but omega is cool too
wonbin - omega (sorry i know but)
sohee - beta but alpha and omega are cool too
anton - alpha but i suppose omega is cool too, i’ve not considered it much
but anyway i also like the creative things people include in their AUs like cherry includes the company having them lie about or hide their secondary gender which would absolutely happen in real life

when i read shinee i read primarily 2min, onkey, jongkey, jongyu, and onjongkey, but i also have read every taemin ship. my shinee otp was 2min but jongkey was the #realest

it’s so hard to say really….. they were the first riize ship i really got into so i have to give a nod to boyjeans for kickstarting that for me. i’ve said that in the beginning there was an element of projection for me onto anton, it was easy to put him in situations (some of which were similar to ones i had been in) and easy for sungchan to be the slightly older and more experienced guy.
it’s kind of like how sometimes (or always for me) you don’t pick a bias, they pick you… i feel like syongton picked me in a way. they’re my muses i guess lol i can never explain these things in a way that captures what i see in my mind

I TRULY THINK IT DEPENDS,....... and i don't wanna get attacked LMAO. but i really don't mind pretty much everything? i'm partial to top sungchan but i've read him bottoming for eunseok and it worked and was fun. i prefer bottom wonbin and i don't think i've read him topping but i've also read so much riize fic i could be misremembering. bottom anton usually but i want him to top sohee. eunseok both and shotaro both <3 LIKE IT REALLY DEPENDS

i think at also notices (and likes) that sc is bigger than him i could be misremembering but i think it was a fancall or something where someone was like blah blah your so big and at was like whaaat no not really i mean sc is bigger plus that picture of them comparing bicep sizes was at coming up to sc and pulled his sleeve off to compare i think the only time hes said he was bigger than sc was about their hands and it felt like that was so big for at cause it was the only thing he was bigger than sc in

i remember the hand size thing and that was so. like that’s some schoolyard flirting. and the rest is just that but worse. it’s so funny because sungchan is obsessed with anton (and everyone else) and is always hanging off of him and feeling him up and anton is pretty nonchalant about it outwardly and also anton generally will just let anyone do anything to him. BUT I JUST KNOW SECRETLY HE LIKES THAT SUNGCHAN IS A LITTLE BIGGER THAN HE IS!!!!!!
